My educational background includes law (J.D.), electrical engineering (B.S.E.E.), and computer science (M.S.), which allows me to approach legal matters with an understanding of both the legal and technical issues involved. I am licensed to practice law in Ohio and am also a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I am also licensed ("on roll") as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of Engalnd and Wales, although not currently practicing there.
I used to maintain a traditional office, primarily for meeting with clients. The building of the last office changed ownership (where I was a tenant for about 20 yeares) in 2025. The new owner needed the entire building. I moved to a virtual-office practice rather than establish another office that would serve largely as meeting space.
I now meet with clients by various online platforms or, when an in-person meeting is preferable, at a mutually convenient location. This arrangement allows me to continue providing personal legal services without maintaining office space that is unnecessary for most of my work.
